    What is PrMetal?

    PrMetal is a calculator for precious metal investors, especially for those who are buying physical (bullion) gold or silver. If you visit a coin shop, coin fair or auction, you can instantly calculate the value of a particular coin or bar of interest. You just tell PrMetal what you want to know, and it picks the correct prices, exchange rates and formula's to provide you with the correct answers.

    1. Specify the fineness of the metal in parts per hundred, parts per thousand, percents or karat (4) to find the pure content value.
    2. Convert gross weight into net weight or net weight into gross weight.
    3. Find the current buy, sell, or spot price for any quantity of gold, silver platinum or palladium.
    4. Find the current buy, sell, or spot price for a (number of) specific bullion coins.
    5. Find the future buy, sell, or spot price for any quantity of metal or a (number of) specific bullion coins by guestimating any target price.
    6. How much of one metal could I buy for a quantity of other metal.
    7. Find the Gold/Silver Ratio for US$ and / or € pricing (2).
    8. Convert weights in grams, kgrams or troy-ounces into any of the other weight units.
    9. Convert US$ to € or € to US$.
    10. Convert prices in US$/oz to €/kg or €/kg to US$/oz in one go!
