» pPhoneSearch v0.1c Description

Search the Palm Contacts database using free strings line 0547333444 and avoiding the problems of the Palm search tool, that only allows perfect coincidence. When searching for a phone number, you may use the general Palm search tool. This tool has a little problem; if you saved your data using digits and some more characters like spaces or () or +, etc. If your phone number is saved as +39 (0547) 333.444, you must give to the search tool only this string. It won't be able to find the contact, if you search for 0547333444. You must match the string perfectly. This program enables you to do it. So you may search 0547333444 or 333444 and it will find your contact. The windows version does the same thing, using the same Palm file (AddressDB.pdb); the file must be in the same directory. You need to copy it from Palm memory. I used the windows code mainly for developing, but it may be useful, after all. It loads the Palm pdb into memory and it's very fast.
