Exploring the outdoors will never be so easy again - thanks to Hike Assist. This program allows users to take their Palm handhelds and record details of their trip including map points, altitude, flora and fauna. Hike Assist has a number of inbuilt checklists. These checklists will help prompt users to virtually all gear, clothing and safety equipment needed for their trip. Safety information like nearest police station, National Park office and State Emergency Service Units can be pre-programmed in case of any eventuality. There is also a notes section to record your own details of the trip. A coloured drawing section will allow you to draw your favourite locations.
