» FingerReader v1.0 Description
This is a fingerprint-reading simulator for your Palm, similar to Thumb Scan or Fingerscan.
However, it has a couple of unique features:
- It is designed to be used in Multitasker and can "lock" a Multitasker session, or prevent a person from using other Multitasker applications until they are authorized
- It is an actual security program, unlike Thumb Scan or Fingerscan which are really only designed for amusement. It actually works by having a user-specifgied x and y position, and if the user touches the genreal position of that spot, they are authorized. Also, if a user fails 3 times, the Palm is completely locked and cannot be used for a period of time. It also automatically logs system lockouts and failed authentication attempts
