Duh Button Launcher Plus allows you to quickly launch applications that are on your Palm OS Device, in your Palm OS device's memory card, or DA's (desk accessories) that are on your Palm OS device. You can map up to twenty applications, or DA's to each of the four hard buttons (datebook, contacts, to-do list, or notepad). The best part about this, is that DBLP acts like a DA! In other words, the DBLP launcher runs on top of the program you are currently running. So you can launch the DBLP launcher, change your mind about launching another application, and resume your work (as long as the ReturnDA is installed). The DBLP package includes several free DA's (desk accessories, or multitasking applications) in the archive for free. When you download DBLP, you get the ResetDA, PowerDA, DateTimeDA, ReturnDA, BatteryDA, and BigClockDA! My favorite of the DA's is the BigClockDA, which is a simple date/time clock that uses the fonts from the GNU Big Clock written by Jens Rupp (http://www.gacel.de/bigclock.htm). The included DA's are free, and you can find hundreds more online! DBLP not only launches applications, but includes a function to disable the card launching. In otherwords, the standard Palm OS launches "Applications" when you insert a memory card. The DBLP option disables this, so that you can insert a memory card without disrupting the application you are currently in. DBLP also includes an option to specify an application for the first hardware button. If you have a Palm OS TX, you know this issue first hand. Most Palm OS devices allow you to assign an application to each of the four hardware buttons. The Palm TX however, only allows you to assign applications to hardware buttons 2,3 and 4. The only option you have for hardware button one is the standard "Applications" launcher, and "Favorites." DBLP allows you to assign whatever you want to the first hardware button! As per suggestion, DBLP can now be launched via a hardware button, and remain on the screen until an application is selected. The five-way directional pad can be used to select an application, or you can use your stylus and a pen tap to select. This optional mode can be changed by pressing the "speed" button from the setup application. Just shows that I'm listening to feature requests! DBLP can also be set to launch only after a hard button has been pressed for at least one second. A short keypress will launch whatever application is mapped to that button. Improvements will be made to customize the length of this keypress as well as other requested features.

Version 1.15b allows you to adjust the "Long Press Delay" time in 100th of a second instead of seconds. There is also a bug fix in 1.15b. Previously, unchecking "Reenable after Reset" with DBLP enabled, and then performing a reset, DBLP would show that it was enabled even though it wasn't. This has been fixed, but was nothing more than a minor nuisance.
